With music, stories, poems and images, Saint Paul Almanac presents the power of story to create empathy, collaboration, reconciliation, and change. This evening we amplify the voices of our neighbors to illuminate the unique cultures and landscapes of Minnesota and to share moments of challenge and triumph. We’ll hear joys and sorrows, courage and connection as we celebrate the beauty and the resilience of the human spirit. Join us to experience the power of sharing our personal stories to envision and claim a better, more just, and kinder world. Enjoy a prelude with the brilliant jazz rhythms of Kevin Washington accompanying portraits of our extraordinary Community Editors and images of artwork published in our anthologies. The reading is joyfully hosted by executive editor Wendy Brown-Baez.
