Using simple writing techniques, we will write from our memories to create a short story. Please bring a notebook or journal and a writing tool of your choice. All levels of writers welcome!

Writing Your Story:
Do you have a story to tell? In this workshop we will begin by generating material using a simple technique of spontaneous writing. We will examine writings of published authors and discuss how to add sensory detail. We will keep a writer's notebook. We will shape our material with characters and dialogue to create a short story. It can be based on the experiences of your life or entirely made up of your imagination. All levels of writers welcome.
